Bridging the gap between the scientific community and its non-technical audiences
Nay is a freelance marketing and communications consultant specializing in clean energy, alternative transportation, and climate. Over the past ten years she has worked and studied in the fields of communications and energy policy, and understands the importance of informing audiences and developing strategies to implement feasible solutions.
Nay developed and grew her video filming, editing, and production skills when working as a video marketing specialist at Hilti North America. Prior to that, she was a program analyst for the Vehicle Technologies Office at the U.S. Department of Energy supporting its broader stakeholder engagement and communications efforts. She also researched global energy efficiency initiatives and analyzed clean energy access projects at the United Nations Foundation. Nay earned her B.A. in Economics from the American University of Beirut and her M.S. in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University.
CONTENT CREATION
Nay has been working in content creation and renewable energy since 2010. This includes producing technical report summaries, policy papers, consumer-facing blog posts, online ad campaigns, and digital assets for social media and websites. Nay studies intended audiences and analyzes the performance of created assets, building upon their results.
